IITM Scholarship

IITM Scholarship is a merit-based financial assistance program offered to students with strong academic performance, calculated through a transparent scholarship score system based on past qualifications and eligibility criteria.

Types of Scholarship

IITM campus offers the following scholarships:

• Merit-Based CCM Scholarship

• Brightmind Scholarship

• Defence & Sports Scholarship

Merit-Based CCM Scholarship

Merit-Based CCM Scholarship is a scholarship given to students based on their academic performance. It is calculated using marks from Class 10, Class 12, graduation (if applicable), and other merit factors. Students with a higher score get a higher scholarship, after document verification.

Brightmind Scholarship

Brightmind Scholarship rewards meritorious students by offering tuition fee waivers based on performance in major entrance exams such as JEE Main and CUET (for BTech & BCA), CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, and GMAT (for MBA), as well as Class 12 board marks. The scholarship amount is awarded according to verified exam scores or academic performance and predefined scholarship slabs.

Defence / Sports Scholarship

This scholarship is meant for:

Defence: Students who are dependents of armed forces personnel (Army, Navy, Air Force, Paramilitary) or ex-servicemen.
Sports: Students who have represented their state or country at the state or national level.

• Scholarship is applicable on total tuition fees

• Document verification is mandatory
